It is reported that the rumors of Colin Farrell and Taylor Kitsch might be confirmed as the leads in the new season of True Detective. Along with the news that the show will delve into the political scene in a Californian town, nothing else is know about the hit television series. It is reported that the female leads are being zeroed in, with one of the characters being sought as role that Jessica Chastain would play (though she has confirmed she will not appear due to scheduling conflicts). With each season being anthology stories, it will be for sure be an interesting upcoming season. And if anyone deserves a break it's Kitsch and Farrell, who though very talented actors, have had a rough go in the film world with one or two films being good.
