Jake Gardiner signs long term deal!

Toronto Maple Leaf defense man Jake Gardiner has signed a 5 year deal with an average of 4.05 million per year. One of the key players on the roster, this gives the team a little bit of security and dissolves any long term issues that might arise in the future. The 24 year old had career highs with goals and points last season, with 10 goals and 21 assists to total 31 points for the team last season. He also had 5 points in 6 playoff games during the 2013 playoffs.
